Thank God for helping my family

Each day, I had to ask for rice from people in the village in order to survive. I had to send my oldest daughter to work as a house worker which he can earn $20 per month. None of my children could go to school. 2 years ago, Mr. Phany from Kone Kmeng went to visit the church in my village. I approached him to ask for rice but he rejected to give. He said "I have no rice to give you just to live for today but I can help you to live for longer" I was so upset with him, as I thought he didn't understand my situation. The pastor and his wife often came to visit and pray for my family.

Time after time, I was consulted and my thought became different. As the project started to help the children and their families in my village, I asked to get a small loan of $50 to start business. I made the traditional Khmer cake and sold out in my village. The business helps my family to be sustainable. I paid off the loan in 4 months. Now, I plan to expand my business by selling soup in the village. I plan to ask my oldest daughter to come back home and help me with business. My children are enrolled in school. I have a hope that my family will be model for others. We thank to God the way that He provides to my family.
